Constitution

Safeguarding Policy

As a member club of Mountaineering Scotland, the Eagle Ski Club is bound by the Mountaineering Scotland Child protection policy. The Club also has its own Child Safeguarding Policy (updated June 2020) in accordance with which, children under 18 (whether members or not) are accepted on meets at the organiser's discretion, and normally only where a parent or legal guardian attends the meet and takes responsibility for the child. In case of doubt, please discuss with the organiser.

The club has two Safeguarding Leads, who are currently Rya Tibawi (rtibawi@aol.com, 0208 769 1034) and Anna Seale (annaseale@hotmail.com, 07714327845).

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy

Mountaineering Scotland as our representative body, have proposed an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy which the club Committee formally adopted 18/11/23, with the view that the policy was consistent with club values and practice.
