5 days of adventurous ski-tours and off-piste skiing based around the mountains above Vallorcine, Argentière and the Swiss village of Finhaut.

This avalanche course follows the Swiss mountain training level 2 avalanche awareness course which has been defined by the Swiss mountain guide association to provide a safer mountaineering experience.

A week of day tours based in the Swiss village of Splugen, stopping in self catering accommodation and using the post bus to access routes each day.

From a base in Aosta, the ski terrain of Courmayeur, La Thuile, Crevacol, Pila, Grand Saint Bernard and Gressoney are all within an hour’s drive. Rail transport possible. NOTE - this is a midweek start.
