Steep off piste coaching and adventures, based in Termignon, in the Maurienne valley. Lift-based, but with lots of potential for short (or longer) tours to access interesting terrain. Many other villages are within easy reach, with great terrain to test out & work on steep skiing skills & tactics.

A week of itinerant valley based ski touring aiming to make the best of the snow conditions using two or three valley bases around Briancon, which could include La Grave, Le Laus, Nevache or one of the villages in the Queryas.

Plenty of challenging skiing in the Val d'Herens accessed by lift from one of three areas. Exciting day tours in the Arolla region, with ascents of at least 1000m and descents of around 40 degrees or more!

A club meet of day tours staying in self-catering accommodation based in the Queyras with ascents between 900m and 1400m. Aimed at self-reliant intermediate and experienced tourers, suitable for those with a limited budget.

Powder skiing in Turkey? Like surfing in Switzerland — sounds wrong, but it’s the real deal! The jagged Kaçkar Mountains rise to 4,000m near the Black Sea and offer north-facing alpine bowls you can tour straight from your cosy lodge. Combine it overland with the Georgia tour 1-8 March.

Off-piste skiing with easy day tours based in a comfortable hotel. This is an excellent week for senior Eagles to improve their off-piste techniques and to get the most downhill for the least uphill!

A circular hut to hut tour of the Mont Thabor massif, searching out the area's best ski descents and summiting its highest peak. Applications to join from younger members particularly encouraged.

Diemtigtal is a nature reserve in the Simmental, (between Gstaad and Kandersteg). The 19th century Kurhaus Hotel provides a superb base for our week tackling ski tours on the north facing peaks that surround Grimmialp. 2 ski lifts can give us helpful uplift at the start of the day.
