ESC members are welcome to the Alpine Club Peak District lectures. The first of these is on 5 October at the Sir William, Grindleford when Charlene Gibson will be talking about her trip to Cho Oyu. The lectures will be held each month on a Thursday evening at 7.30 p.m. either at the Sir William or at Outside, Hathersage. Check the AC website for details. We have a fabulous set of speakers: Catherine Moorehead talking about Doug Scott in conversation with Dr Jeremy Windsor, Simon Richardson on new routes in Canada and the Alps, Mick Fowler on Tajikistan, Kasia Piakek on Sikkim and Ronnie Legg on Ama Dablam.

Thanks for that. AC website gives dates of all lectures, but doesn't help with details of location.
