The new Dyanfit ST binding is excellant but there is a problem in that on skinning the heel rotates back to the downhill mode - very annoying !
This is a fault and can be fixed by inserting a pin either by the supplier or the pins can be sent to you.

A further piece of information on this point, supplied by Telemark Pyrenees.......
The problem of rotation system on the Heel Unit appears on the radical bindings last winter. Dynafit has changed the Pin and added an anti rotation lock system on the radical FT Z12 and radical ST. On the Radical Speed they have change the pin and made an evolution on the design of the heel piece. The Vertical series are not concerned by this.

I've just ordered a pair of Dynafit Radical STs. As they're new this year, I would hope they've been fitted with the corrections you mention Stephen, but do you know how to tell if they have been?

They were new last year, and when we bought them (almost exactly a year ago), the recall was in progress - we got new pins. Since the bindings were in short supply even then, I think by now all of the old stock would be flushed out.
