Can anyone help by advising on insurance cover for ski touring trip to Japan in February? I’ve looked at Snow Card & BMC (both very expensive). AAC is an option But then what do you do about flight & accommodation insurance cover? Any thoughts / help gratefully received.

I use my Nationwide packaged insurance for that. It also includes limited off piste cover. It's very good value, even though I have to pay extra now I am 70.
