A friend has an apartment in Meribel. Has anyone done any ski touring in the Meribel area?

If I remember correctly, you can get into the Vanoise from Val Thorens and Courchevel, then the world's your oyster. You should be able to link in to routes in 'Vanoise Ski Touring' by Paul Henderson (Cicerone). You might also find some more local routes in the 'Trois Vallees Hors Piste' book, probably available on the web or in resort.
