Classic trip of exploring the troll Penisula based out of Dalvik.

E2 tours for E2 tourers. Day tours from two centres in unfrequented coastal area Gildeskal and adjacent snow-sure inland area Beiarn, both south of Bodo in typical Norwegian terrain. Option of overnight in remote DNT hut. Mon-Wed 9 nights

A high-level hut-to-hut tour that travels amongst the spectacular scenery of rocky peaks and glaciers that surround the Val d'Anniviers.

After a warm-up day tour we'll spend 4 nights at the Branca and Pizzini huts, skiing peaks like Monte Cevedale (3769m, the most famous peak in the Ortler).

2 weeks of easy touring, initially based in a lower ski resort, to allow acclimatisation, at a comfortable hotel in La Gouille, at 1500m, the second in Arolla at the Hotel du Glacier, at 2000m. EARLY BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL IN ORDER TO CONFIRM HOTEL BOOKINGS.

The plan for a hut-to-hut tour is to start in Alpe Devero and finish in Riale, after hopefully a successful ascent of Basodino and Cristallina, following failed attempts in the last 2 years!  The tour will be accessed from Val Formazza in Italy and will use both Italian and Swiss huts.

6 days of hut to hut touring, between 13-29km/day, carrying 10KG packs, staying in basic cabins with wood burning stoves. Rated as one of the five most beautiful ski tours in the world! Traditional Finnmark touring over gentle terrain but requiring robust fitness for some long days.

The Silvretta offers fine glaciated ski-touring and is popular for flexible touring options and good huts. This is an unguided, member led trip but would be suitable for newer members with the right skills. Ideally we will take in the Piz Buin (3312m).

A subsidised introductory course for novice ski-tourers, aimed at attracting new younger members and developing their skills so that they are supported to access other Club tours in future.

The combination of ski instruction and guiding enables participants to develop their skiing skills. On the guided day tours we'll find the best snow available to test our new skills.
